Privacy Policy
At OOCCRR, we understand the importance of your data security and privacy. This policy explains how we provide high-performance OCR services while ensuring "your data never leaves your device."
Core Privacy: Edge Computing
We use advanced WebAssembly (WASM) technology to deploy the OCR engine directly in your local browser. This means when you select an image for recognition, all pixel analysis and text extraction logic occur within your local device's memory. Your original images are **never** uploaded to our servers, and we cannot access or store any of your recognition results. This "edge-only" architecture eliminates the risk of privacy leaks at the source.
Image Data Processing
OOCCRR does not require account registration. We do not collect personal identifiers such as your name, email, or phone number. Your processed images exist only in your browser's temporary memory and are released immediately after the recognition task is completed.
Analytics and Improvement
To continuously improve product performance and user experience, we integrate Google Analytics. We collect anonymized, aggregated data such as page views, feature usage frequency, browser types, and system errors. We promise: we never collect sensitive information related to your image content or extracted text results through any analytics tools.
Local Storage and Caching
To provide a better experience, we store the following in your browser's LocalStorage: 1. Your language preferences; 2. Your selected OCR model configuration; 3. Caches (indexes) for downloaded model files. This data remains on your local device, and you can delete it at any time by clearing your browser cache.
Cookies Policy
Aside from cookies used by Google Analytics for statistical purposes, OOCCRR's core functionality does not use any cookies to track or identify users.
